The Pembroke Regional Hospital requires one (1) Clinical Director for Surgical, Obstetrical and Critical Care Programs. This position is offered on a Full-time basis.


The Clinical Director is responsible for leadership in strategic program visioning, planning, resource allocation, service excellence and quality improvement. The Director works with multiple partners within the Champlain LHIN, the Hospital management team and the clinical patient teams to create an environment for innovation, excellence and best practices in patient centered care. The Director acts as a strong advocate for the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. The Clinical Director will act as a designate for senior administration as required and assigned.



  • Current certificate of competence as Registered Nurse (RN) from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with evidence of progressive levels of responsibility
  • Experience working with unions and union contracts
  • Experience with all aspects of business management, including management of contracts and service agreements and managing complex budgets
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computerized applications and programs
  • Bilingualism(French/English) is preferred
