The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce a generous $10,000 donation from Caroline and Andy Burns in support of the Together, We Care campaign — a transformative fundraising initiative helping to strengthen health care for our region.

 

The Together, We Care campaign will fund essential high-priority equipment, including a new CT scanner, as well as the implementation of Epic/MyChart, a modern electronic health records system that will improve patient care, coordination, and access to information across the hospital.

 

Andy Burns and his wife Caroline have long been exceptional supporters of the Pembroke Regional Hospital and the broader community. Their continued commitment reflects a deep belief in ensuring high-quality care close to home.

 

“We are incredibly grateful to Andy and Caroline for their leadership and generosity,” said PRH Foundation Executive Director, Roger Martin. “Their gift will have a meaningful impact on patient care for decades to come, and we hope it inspires others to join them.”

 

“This is our home, and the hospital is at the heart of this community,” said Andy Burns. “Caroline and I believe strongly in supporting the care that our families, friends, neighbours, and employees rely on. We hope our donation encourages others to give what they can to help bring these important upgrades to the hospital.”

 

The Foundation encourages community members to follow Andy and Caroline’s example by contributing to the Together, We Care campaign through a pledge, one-time donation, monthly gift, or other meaningful support. Every contribution brings the hospital closer to delivering the latest technology and enhanced care for patients across the region.

 

As the year draws to a close, the Foundation also reminds supporters that year-end donations make a significant difference — and may offer tax benefits when made before December 31st.
