Record Breaking Start For Catch the Ace As Local Couple Wins $6,210

23/6/2026

Catch the Ace is back, and the community has responded in a big way. A record-breaking Week #1 saw local couple Mark and Kim McQuiston take home the first weekly prize of $6,210, marking an exciting start to the campaign.

The opening draw exceeded expectations, generating tremendous community support and momentum for the weeks ahead. Following the success of the previous Catch the Ace campaign - which awarded a jackpot of more than $1 million - anticipation was high for the lottery's return. Mark and Kim McQuiston were announced as the first winners of the new campaign, taking home the Week #1 prize of $6,210 as excitement continues to build across the region.

“We are thrilled with the response from the community,” said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. “The success of Week #1 demonstrates the incredible support local residents have for healthcare close to home."

Funds raised through Catch the Ace support the Foundation's highest-priority equipment needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital.

With the jackpot continuing to grow, tickets are on sale for the Week #2 draw which take place June 24th at 10 a.m. Residents are encouraged to get their tickets early as the excitement builds and more chances to win await.
