Andre Mickovitch and Lesley Cassidy Pledge $50,000 to Together, We Care Campaign

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation has received an incredible boost to its fundraising efforts thanks to a $50,000 multi-year pledge from André Mickovitch and Lesley Cassidy.
The generous five-year commitment supports the Foundation’s Together We Care Campaign, a $10-million initiative dedicated to upgrading medical equipment and technology at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
“We are fortunate to have a hospital that serves the community with compassion and excellence,” said Mickovitch and Cassidy in a joint statement. “While we now live outside the region, we visit regularly and continue to see the tremendous value of having strong local healthcare available when it’s needed. We encourage others to consider joining us in supporting this important initiative.”
Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Foundation, praised the donors for their forward-thinking generosity. “Their pledge demonstrates outstanding leadership and a community-minded approach,” Martin said. “Gifts like theirs help ensure our healthcare teams have access to the equipment they need to provide exceptional care to every patient."
With the campaign currently sitting at over 70% of its final target, the Foundation invites individuals and local businesses to join the cause.
