The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's Catch the Ace lottery has reached another milestone, with Chantal Pettigrew, a Pembroke Regional Hospital employee, announced as the Week #7 winner, taking home an impressive $8,582.

 

As both a hospital employee and Catch the Ace participant, Pettigrew's win highlights the strong support the Together, We Care Campaign continues to receive from the community and the PRH team alike.

 

Community support remained exceptionally strong throughout the week, driving ticket sales beyond expectations and resulting in one of the largest weekly prizes awarded at this stage of any PRH Foundation Catch the Ace lottery. While the weekly prize was initially estimated at $8,000, strong ticket sales pushed the final prize to $8,582 by draw day.

 

The current lottery has seen unprecedented early momentum, with weekly prize amounts now more than two-and-a-half times higher than they were at the same point in previous PRH Foundation Catch the Ace rounds. The strong participation has fuelled larger weekly prizes, growing jackpots, and excitement across the region.

"Seven weeks into this round of Catch the Ace, the excitement continues to build. Every ticket sold is helping advance the Together, We Care Campaign and fund important equipment and technology needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital. It's wonderful to see people supporting local healthcare while sharing in the excitement of the lottery."

 

The ongoing success of Catch the Ace is helping support the Foundation's Together, We Care Campaign, which funds priority equipment and technology needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Thanks to the incredible response from the community, the campaign has already reached its goals of funding the final three Acute Mental Health Security Beds and a new lighting system for the Labour and Delivery Department. The campaign is now focused on funding 11 stretchers for departments throughout the hospital, representing an investment of approximately $170,000 to support patient care across multiple areas of PRH.

With excitement showing no signs of slowing down, residents across the region continue to follow each week's draw and hope to become the next lucky winner.
