The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to recognize a generous donation of $15,000 from long-time supporter Russell Howell in support of local health care and the Foundation's Together We Care Campaign.

 

Mr. Howell has been a dedicated donor to the Foundation for many years, making annual contributions that help ensure patients and families in our region have access to the equipment and technology needed close to home. In honour of his late wife, Pauline "Blondie" Howell, he continues to support the Foundation through annual gifts that reflect both his appreciation for local health care and his commitment to giving back to the community.

 

"I'm so appreciative of the care I received at the hospital, and I wanted to give back in a way that would help others in our community," said Mr. Howell.

 

"Making this donation in Blondie's memory feels like a meaningful way to honour her and support the hospital that has helped us so much."

 

The donation will help advance the Foundation's Together We Care Campaign, which is focused on funding priority equipment needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital, including the hospital's new CT Scanner. This vital piece of equipment provides faster, more accurate diagnoses and plays an essential role in the care of thousands of patients across the region each year.

Roger Martin recently met with Mr. Howell to recognize his latest donation and thank him for his longstanding commitment to improving health care in our community.

 

The Foundation continues to welcome donations in support of the Together We Care Campaign, helping fund a new CT Scanner and other priority equipment needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital.
