Kirkland Lake Resident Wins $11,647 in Catch the Ace Week 16 Draw

5/10/2026

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is excited to announce that Nick Gardiner of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, is the Week 16 winner of Catch the Ace, taking home an impressive $11,647 prize.

Nick's winning ticket was drawn during the Week 16 draw, earning him the weekly prize and the chance to uncover the Ace of Spades and claim the weekly jackpot.

While Catch the Ace supports local health care in the Ottawa Valley, the lottery continues to attract participants from across Ontario and beyond. Nick becomes the second winner this round to call a community outside the region home, highlighting the incredible reach of the fundraiser and the widespread support for the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's mission.

"The support we continue to see from both local and out-of-area participants is amazing," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "It's exciting to know that people from communities across Ontario are getting involved while helping us fund essential equipment for Pembroke Regional Hospital. Every ticket purchased helps make a difference for local patients and families."

With the Ace of Spades still hidden, anticipation continues to grow as the jackpot climbs heading into next week's draw.

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation congratulates Nick Gardiner on his win and thanks all participants for their continued support of local health care.
